Social Weekends with the Team
Saturday afternoons and Sundays are social recovery days. We have an array of beautiful islands just minutes away and we like to take the local fishing boats over and catch some sun, mess around with the pigs on the beach and cook up a BBQ. Five islands, Koh Phagnan and Koh Tao are a little further, great for long day trip’s or an overnight stay. The team at the gym manage to getaway and explore most weekends, finding waterfalls, new beach clubs, isolated beaches and café hideaways. Social weekends making friends and exploring Thailand !
We also work with a local dog and elephant rescue sanctuary. We can arrange for you to spend the day there and help out and see the great work they do, get involved and make a difference on Koh Samui.
Throughout the year, weekends are also full of different distance charity events for the local hospital. 5k fun runs to 10k + we always like to show our support and take a team for a good cause.
Plenty to choose from at weekends, or relax at your own pace its totally your choice.

Exercise & Mental Health Working Together.
Mental health issues is not as uncommon as you would think. Its important to be aware about it because it can easily happen to someone close by. Mental health awareness increases the chances for early intervention, which can result in a fast recovery. Self–awareness is a form of stepping back and observing your thoughts and feelings as they unfold. Or it can be a more complex, layered awareness of how your thoughts feed into your emotions, physical sensations and behaviors. Exercise and goals help with the releasing ” good feel ” endorphins, with a good tribe around you it helps resolve any negative thoughts.. We have a few professionals onsite that can help, be it substance abuse, anxiety or just general depression. We are all here to listen and help. Weightloss Detox Retreat.
Nutrition and Detox is key whilst exercising on this program. Planned meals and planned classes will step by step take your body down in weight and importantly teach you how to do it. Without jumping in full blast we take the first week slowly adjusting your bodys metabalism and muscle sorness slowly through the proces. Muay Thai & Strength Retreat
Originating from Thai martial arts, this is an intense total body workout. You’ll learn basic Thai boxing techniques, such as blocks: kicks and punches, Mornings Muay Thai and a great cardio blast. During the day there are unlimited fitness classes ( see under Complete Fitness ) to choose from to build your strength and mobility. with all the fun going home learning one of the worlds favorite martial arts. Trail Running and Hiking on Samui has become very popular
Hiking early mornings for the active ones, the island’s jungle clad interior opens the door to a world of hidden waterfalls, charming gardens and adventurous hikes. So pack your sturdy shoes, put on some sunscreen and explore these amazing hikes in Koh Samui. A race every year now in June called The Monkey trail all clients and friends can join in the fun. Every week we will conquer a new Trail in the jungle ; we usually have two groups one that will hike and one that will run it. The famous Secret Buddha Hike 5k up and 5k down is the one we ensure you conquer before your time is up.

Conquer The Great Wall China Run
Our annual charity event in May each year takes us to China to conquer running the Great Wall Of China. Clients can choose between. 10k, 21k or the full marathon 42k race it is all on the wall its an exciting adventure run with great people from around the world all running for chairtys across the world. Coach Billy – A professional trainer who’s spent the past decade on Koh Samui working with weight loss clients and helping professional athletes build strength and stamina. Having worked on The Biggest Loser Asia and The Challenger Muay Thai TV Show, Billy has experience working with seriously overweight clients who want to lose weight and get results fast ; Always introducing clients to CrossFit, Triathlon and running events to ensure they stay focused when returning home.

His goal is to show you how everyone has an addictive personality and they just have to channel this right to continue with a healthy lifestyle. He has experimented with all nutritional meal plans and will help fine tune your meals for what suits your body.
His clients vary in age and objectives, he always encourages his clients to complete in small events after their training and keep signing up for new goals to keep you focused. For the last two years he took a team of clients to conquer the Great Wall Of China Marathon and three teams to compete in Ironman 70.3 Vietnam, Phuket and Langkawi. These were just clients who continued there training and met Billy to race at these venues.

Childrens Hospice Charity Annual Event
Last years money raised for the Children’s unit in Koh Samui hospital was a great help and appreciated so much by the children’s ward and kindergarten ! A huge thanks to everyone who gave their time and donations to help us help the local community. Every year we have decide to run an event all charity donations go direct to the hospital and Dr Rapheephan (shown in picture) who splits the costs throughout the department.
After speaking to Dr Rapheephan from the clinic she has told us of the new air conditioning they are installing. So we have decided to keep with the same charity The Children’s Special Needs Ward in Nathon, Koh Samui and hopefully with your support and our teams dedication of months of training we are able to help year after year.
Every year there are a few 5k and 10k charity runs on Koh Samui and we all join in the fun for a good cause. Clients are always welcome and mostly after a few weeks training cant believe there results.
Leanne P from UK - Successful Year After Year who now is an Triathlete
Leanne’s visit was well deserved after a few years of work stress which lead to a bad lifestyle with food and wine. Leanne’s positive attitude helped her get amazing results with a complete body change and 15 kg weight loss in 6 weeks. Swimming Hiking Jogging Strength & Conditioning Classes and Yoga was just the tip of Leanne’s amazing achievements – she now jogs 21 k in under two hours and cooks for herself using all the right clean ingredients to fuel her body for work. Staying in the apartment with it’s own kitchen we showed her how to cook and with visits to the local markets she soon knew what to buy – this helped a lot and she was amazed by how good clean food could taste. After a few shaky starts her strength and conditioning has come on great giving her the body she wanted back – she now has all the tools and education to continue with her next goal the 21 k Cambodia Marathon in November.
Weekly we head to the Beach for fun and fitness
Lamai Beach Koh Samui is our training ground – from water walking, swimming, and beach circuits we get amazing results – every morning the sun will rise its a great way to start your day only a 2 minute walk from the resort. Swimming out in the ocean to running in the shallow waters there is a exercise for everyone. Long Distance Triathlon group swims are the clients favorite with some amazing natural swimmers who just came to lose weight. 5 minutes from the gym we can always jog down in the mornings to watch the sun rise and feel energetic for the day ahead.- somedays we just hang out enjoy healthy food and get ready for the next session.
Lamai Beach is one of the cleaniest and longest on Koh Samui, many relax during sessions and catch some rays.
Turning Couch Potatoes into Ironman
Every year we take online our next group of competitors to conquer a half or full Ironman. This weekend we head of to Vietnam 70.3 Ironman with our Layman Competitors … Dave , Babs, Dennis, Nik and Trent have taken the challenge for the last 4 months to compete this weekend ! After months of training and the last three weeks in Koh Samui at Tri Camp – we are tapering off and getting ready for the race – watch out for our next 30 days promotion for the Phuket 70.3 Challenge in November !
Father & Son Bonding - take some time out with the family and join our group sessions
Raghu & Vish from Singapore had a fantastic two weeks with us ! Amazing father and son bonding time training everyday learning about nutrition and meeting lots of new friends, a real pleasure to have these great guys with us and watching Vish excel into a great sportsman !
Weightloss and Detox was vital for Raghu to get his results and Vish learning new sports and joining in all the classes and hikes.

Triathlon Koh Samui
Our latest Triathlon Team who were all programmed clients originally, then fell in love with swimming, biking and running, all managed to complete the Vietnam Ironman 70.3. Training on one of our retreats to gain fitness and technique to following on our online program. We all met at the race in Vietnam and had great fun competing and catching up.. There astonishing journeys and hard work gave them all a medal in on of the hardest events in the world. The Relay Team managed an impressive 2nd place. Well done to everyone who made friends for life – watch out for our next event and you to could join our next team. There is no pressure to join any of these events but you find your intrigued and once your confidence spikes gain starting to believe in yourself to take on any challenge..

Charity Ford Khanom Run
We took the team over to the mainland for the Ford Annual Run – everyone trained with us over the weeks and got some amazing results. Meeting some fantastic people from around the world, meeting up and now running in different countries having joined our Garmin group page, This event is held annually in October and anyone can join the team, they do a 5k 10k 21k and 42 distance.
Run & Swim Club
.Tuesday mornings we have our Run Club at the local track. Train with Ironman Triathlete Billy Orr – Swim & Run techniques, Learn how to Run – the full low down on making it an enjoyable and beneficial hobby we run on quiet jungle roads or at Koh Samui Stadium Track and for some views over mountains – Billy will actually run and adjust technique with you unlike other coaches. Swim Technique in the 25m pool onsite and ocean calm water swims all levels, lots of fun for a non impact sport.

Every year we take a team to Spartan and have great fun rolling in mud, climbing obstacles and supporting our team members. We take a team to work together and also individuals competing for top spots.
Hannah who took to Trail Running in Samui and smashed 50k
Hannah has visited us a few times over the last few years starting of with weight loss and now pushing onto the running club and fitness packages. A great friend to all our team and with her amazing determination she took on one of the hardest events this year with the Lamai Fitness Team – read how she took on one of our biggest events of the year. Hannah’s first day was a shock to her, she struggled with the first viewpoint ‘ overlap stone’ – she pushed through and never gave up each day stepping it up and never missing a session – within a few weeks she completed an Ironman in 5 days – swimming, biking and running and was now ready to sign up for the 50 k North Face Trial Run. Her preparation was amazing following the program and listening when to rest and when to push – she was fresh going into the race and smashed the event getting stronger throughout the mileage – her best times were in the last 10 k getting an amazing 4th place in the female division, a very impressive run and an outstanding performance. Well done Hannah cant wait to have you back for the next team event.
